Why do I have provide my mailing address during signup?
  Providing your mailing address is optional. We use it to prevent registration fraud and help members in case of lost password. If you cannot remember your password, the answer to secret questions and the email address, the only way to reset you login would be to verify your name and mailing address.
 
Why do I need secret question and answer?
  Secret questions and answers give you an additional level of security. To reset your password, you must be able to correctly answer your secret question when prompted. When creating your secret question and answer you should make sure that:
  • your questions have answers that do not change over time
  • your questions are specific
  • the answers to your questions are short (ideally one word only)
  • you avoid dates as these can be easily mistyped
  • you avoid punctuation such as commas and full stops.
What are some examples of secret questions?
 
  • What month was my first child born?
  • What was the color of my first car?
  • What was the make of my first car?
  • What was the name of my first pet
  • Which year did I start high school?
How do I change my secret questions and answers?
  To change your secret question and answer, first login to your account and go to the Owners' Portal (or Property Manager area). Then go to the "Account" tab and click on the link "Update Your Account Profile". Change your secret question & answer and click the "Submit" button.
 
How do I change my personal information?
  To change your personal information, first login to your account and go to the Owners' Portal (or Property Manager area). Then go to the "Account" tab and click on the link "Update Your Account Profile". Change your personal information and click the "Submit" button.
 
What are these oddly placed characters at the bottom of the signup page?
  The graphics with these oddly placed characters is commonly known as CAPTCHA. CAPTCHA is used to ensure that a person and not a spambot is filling out the signup form. The characters are difficult for a spambot or other computer program to read. Yet a person has little trouble reading the letters/numbers in a CAPTCHA image.

I forgot my password. How can I reset it?
  From the login page, click the Forgot your password? link. In the next page, type your email address that you used to register at Travental.com. Click the "Continue" button. In the next page, type the answer to your secret question and click "Continue". Your password will be sent to your email address.
 
How do I change my password?
  If you wish to change your password, login to the Travental Website. Click the Owners' Portal link on the top navigation bar. Go to "Account" tab and click on the "Change Your Password" link.
 
How can I create a secure password?
 
  • Use a combination of letters and numbers in mixed case.
  • Use as password which at least 6-8 characters long.
  • DO NOT use full or part of your name, email address, or the property information as password.
  • DO NOT use words found in a dictionary.
  • Do NOT use words/characters on simple repeating patterns.
How do I reset my password if I do not remember the email address and answer to secret question?
  If you cannot remember the registered email address and the answer to secret questions , the only way to reset you login would be to verify your name, mailing address, phone number, and/or secondary email address/SMS address. Please use the "Contact Us" link at the top of the page in case you have a situation like this. Provide as much information as you can to help us locate your account.
